About Rangeview

Rangeview, by Section23 Developments, is Calgary’s first garden-to-table community — a new neighbourhood east of Seton designed around a simple idea: that growing, cooking, and sharing food builds neighbourhoods the way lakes and golf courses used to. The plan weaves community gardens, orchards, and gathering spaces through the streets, with greenhouses, garden plots, and food-focused programming as the community’s social engine.

It’s early-days new construction — which means buying from builders, choosing lots and finishes, and watching a community grow in around you. The location borrows Seton’s mature amenities (hospital, YMCA, shopping) while the garden identity gives Rangeview something none of its neighbours have. As with any new build: the sales centre works for the builder — I work for you, at no cost to you, and I’ll compare the builders’ offerings honestly.

Gardens, amenities & location

The garden-to-table identity is the headline: community garden plots, orchards, greenhouse space, and harvest programming designed into the neighbourhood plan, alongside parks, playgrounds, and pathway connections. Until Rangeview’s own commercial matures, Seton’s urban district — hospital, YMCA, cinema, groceries — is minutes west, with Mahogany’s lake amenities and the ring road close by. Schools are planned within the wider Rangeview area; nearby designated schools serve the community in the meantime (catchments are by address — ask me for the current designation).
